When the past comes knocking and you have no desire to return to someone you thought you were in love with
That’s healing
When you no longer think all the shitty negative thoughts constantly
That’s healing
When you can look in the mirror and love every freckle stretch mark and roll
That’s healing
When you can have a conversation with someone from your past and not get angry
That’s healing
When you wake up each day and replay situations over and over less and less
That’s healing
When you can recognize your power and know what you deserve
That's healing.
No matter what it looks like to you even the smallest changes mean you're healing so take a step back and notice them because that's your proof right there that you are in fact healing even when you feel like you're not.
